"I won’t recommend this place for these two reasons. First, I requested boneless meat to the lady at the cash register. She simply went to the freezer with a knife and came back with desired amount of meat without gloves. She was touching the meat with her bare hands. She asked me if the meat is enough. I said yes, but I told her to clean the meat. She weigh the meat first, charge me for 3.18 lb, then she cleaned it. Very greedy. Second, when I see the meat at home, it looks smaller than 3.18lb. I weigh it and it’s a little over two pounds. Greedy. Please be careful if you have a choice go somewhere else."

"I live 13 miles north and it was my first time visiting ALIF solely based on the fact the owner is a very nice lady and the prices are good. I called several weeks ago to inquire and she answered all of my questions with a friendly disposition AND --come to find out-- the quality of meat is good! She even told me the weight of the meat exceeded the amount I ordered-- I appreciate the upfront and honest approach. *Prices are posted on the back wall which is great* *Take note, they do close 2 hours early during the month of Ramadan but will operate regular hours after Eid*"

"I called here to price 2 points of ground beef. The price was 6.99 a pound. Coming out to 13.98. I get there she tried to charge me 20 plus bucks. Which is the price for 3 pounds. I wasn’t going for it. Made her change the price to its correct amount. Then the meat looked very different I questioned her on it. Then when we cooked it. It didn’t even produce any grease. ITS BEEF!!! Beef produces grease. I will never give my business to them again. Insha Allah. May Allah protect me and my family from the evil eye. May Allah rectify her affairs and get her to cover Fisabillah. Muslim women cover to protect themselves."
