"I’ve bought meat from here several times. Sometimes it’s fresh, but other times it’s not. This time, the meat had a bad smell and didn’t look fresh at all. When customers pay their money, they expect to receive fresh and high-quality products every time. I hope the store takes this seriously and ensures better consistency moving forward."

"The Halal supermarket is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. Nice variety of food and well-stocked store. Many snacks and nuts are available. Butcher located in the back. Parking during the day can be challenging. I purchased some baklava and a bag from the store. Unfortunately, syrup dripped from the baklava all over the bag and several other items I purchased in the store after I arrived home. Helpful staff for customers. Update: The management of the supermarket responded to my review and offered to send me a complimentary order of baklava."

"I bought chicken from this market because it is advertised as halal, but my experience suggests otherwise. The chicken had an unusual amount of blood and very dark bone color, which is not typical for properly prepared halal zabiha. This raised serious concerns about the quality and whether the halal is really halal! I hope the owners address this issue, improve transparency, and ensure the meat is prepared according to proper halal zabiha. Until then, I won’t be buying from here again."
