"I wish them good luck in letting a drunk person handling the meat cutter, which may turn into a bloody accident. I have been regular there and spend at least $100 each time in buying beef/chicken. This store is always empty like a graveyard with barely any other customers. Today I got the answer for why there’s very few customers. We went there to buy beef on a weekday around lunch time. The owner (I guess) told us that the butcher is on lunch break. We waited there about 20 minutes. The butcher came back stumbling, any person with average IQ would realize the butcher was drunk by looking at the way he was walking and his eyes. I asked the owner if the person is drunk and responsible for cutting ‘supposedly halal’ meat! The owner questioned our judgement and straight said ‘no, the person doesn’t drink at all’ (FYI the butcher was from Guatemala). I know they drink, and that person was drunk on that day. Anyway, I tried to move on and mind my own business. I asked for 8 lbs of beef. Guess what! The owner indirectly declined to sell to us saying the minimum amount he can sell is - 12 lbs. I was kinda speechless. I guess I hurt his feelings by calling a drunk person ‘drunk’. We got out without taking any service, let the owner know that - because of this type of attitude, he doesn’t have customers coming back."

"I usually don’t share reviews but felt compelled to do so. I have been a loyal customer of this place for many years. Recently I purchased half of a goat from the place. The meat was smelly and tasted horrible, couldn’t even eat a single bite. I called the place and the owner refused to even acknowledge my concern and said they do not refund money or exchange any meat whatsoever. My biggest disappointment is the lack of acknowledgement as this is a serious potential health matter. Be mindful if the health of the family is of a concern to you. Very disappointed with the experience and unfortunately they just lost a very loyal customer."
